The explosive growths of cyber threats are brewing a perfect storm for cyber espionage.  This revolution has shift world economy views of cyber security and we are calling global solutions. This year OIC-CERT Annual Conference 2012 has flagged "Cyber Security Against Emerging Threats” as the theme. 

The OIC-CERT Annual Conference 2012 will be hosted by The Oman National Computer Emergency Readiness Team (OCERT), an initiative under The Information Technology Authority (ITA) and co – organised by CyberSecurity Malaysia, an agency of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia (MOSTI) and the Chair of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference – Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT).  The event is scheduled from 29 to 31 December 2012 at Al Bustan Palace - A Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Muscat Oman.

As part of a continuous initiative, The OIC-CERT Annual Conference aimed to strengthen and builds trust among the global communities in cyber security especially among the OIC countries. With series of plenary session, OIC-CERT Annual conference offers formulating initiatives, programs, policies and strategy that are beneficiaries to all OIC-CERT members.

It is calling regional alliances for possible partnerships and collaboration pertaining to cyber security
